As far as Live Lounge covers go, this is fairly good (that is if you can stand Hassle's Mr. Hudsonesque vocal overstretching) and we love the 'interpolation', or whatever the fuck you call it, of Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)". Speaking of Erik Hassle, for it is he, his rather good single "Hurtful" is out now. It doesn't seem to be shooting up the iTunes chart, so maybe if you have 79p or so to spare, you should toss it his way.
Then again, it's a free country, so do whatever you like.

In England we spend lots of money on boring videos...
Erik Hassle, Scandinavian popstar, has been picked up for the UK and the video for his amazing debut single "Hurtful" has been reshot. This time The Saturdays aren't sexually assaulting him, he is standing in front of a wall. A wall, people! A WALL. We have no idea whether Mr. Hassle is going to be a success because we've never heard anything else he's ever recorded, but the whole thing smacks of either one-hit-wonder-odour, or Top-3o-hit-wonder-odour. Plus, we don't find him very enticing as a pop entity.
Oh well... doesn't stop us enjoying the song.

Stuck In Our Head: "Hurtful" - Erik Hassle
Popjustice did something about this a few weeks ago. And as with everything they do... it took as a while to cotton on, but cotton on we did, and that is the important thing, whether you like it or not.
Basically this is Erik Hassle with his first (and let's face, probably his only) UK single. It's called "Hurtful" and it's very good. The video features him being sexually harrassed by members of the Saturdays. He looks quite uninterested, the ungrateful sod.
