Pearl Future: still bonkers, still brilliant!

This is pretty glossy/fun considering it looks like it had a budget in the region of £5.64.

This is so gay, and so hot, it hurts.

We wrote about Pearl Future ages ago. She is still as wonderful now as she was then but she has a new song out! It's called "Lookin' at Me" and it features Nicki Minaj (yes, we know, we know, could it get any better?). You can actually buy it here on UK iTunes (please do) and hopefully there will be a video at some point.

Pearl Future's sound is a sort of campy, off-beat, geeky, urban, pop deliciousness. Super-catchy, with interesting production and borderline silly lyrics. We dig it so much, we just hope she can get a hit. Enjoy!

Stuck In Our Head: "Shop Song" - Pearl Future

Popjustice did a thing about this a while back and called Pearl Future "a geeky Lady GaGa" or something to that effect. They even had a free download of the song above but we didn't listen to it for AGES and forgot it existed.

It is however, camp, silly, pop brilliance. We particularly enjoy the lines "If it's shiny I like it and if it's tight, I LOVE it".

It wouldn't change your life but it might cheer you up a bit.
