Confusion Art...

Apparently, this genuinely beautiful graphic design isn't the artwork for Frankmusik's long-awaited debut album: it's for the sampler.

But is this brilliant and borderline-iconic image? No. Not according to Google or Amazon.

This average monstrosity is? It's for the 'Deluxe' edition.

It's a sad and confusing day (for artwork).

A Holly Valance-'feat.' Frankmusik video...

We're not sure if we entirely GET the concept properly and we think we prefer the previous mix. Nevertheless a diverting 3 minute excursion through popville!

Not a good year for male popstars...

Gary Go
"Wonderful" - 25

Frankmusik
"Better Off As Two" - 26

Tommy Sparks
"She's Got Me Dancing" - 22
Unfortunately, none of these 'male popstars' have made a huge impact on the UK charts, as you can see above. Gary Go is fairly MOR (that's Middle of the Road) so we're not too bothered about him, but Frankmusik is a sort of geeeenius songwriter and producer and Tommy Sparks shows promise so... it's sad.

Are they just not eccentric or visually distinctive enough!? We'll never know.

Up-and-coming Popstars who cannot spell...

'Camden' is not a notoriously difficult word to spell. Nevertheless both Frankmusik and Little Boots have managed to spell it wrongly within the space of HOURS.

'Canden'? 'Camen'?

We fear for humanity.

No but seriously... maybe it's just so cold (as Vincent Frank was kind enough to point out) that pressing ickle dainty pop fingers onto tiny little Blackberry or iPhone keypads has resulted in badfrostbitten spelling mistakes.

Then again, maybe not.

We forgot to do something about this...

Oooh... it's out (*scratches head*) SOON and it's very good. In fact we were thinking of doing a new thing where we do the SHINY & NEW CHART of songs that we are currently bumming that have been released recently or whatever but we'll probably never get round to it. If we did, however, using the magic of iTunes Smart Playlists, create this chart, this song would come in at Number 2 after the new Röyksopp and Robyn collab (WHICH WE CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF).

The video is sort of interesting visually but completely boring in the sense that nothing really happens (or does it? We didn't make it all the way through... sorry about that). Also: have you noticed that, despite everyone (including us) going into a completely ridiculous frenzy about youtube banning all music videos ever in the UK, they are, in fact working 9 times out of 10 for us?
