The New Musical Express has had a visual makeover - what do you think of it?

It's frustratingly not square, and controversially features the tracklisting on the front cover. That tracklisting in a less-controversial list format:

Medieval baebe...

Surprisingly, we weren't the biggest fans of Laura Marling's first album. It was fairly lovely, but also rather broad and traditional and it sort of floated over our head (so to speak, the CD didn't literally float over our heads, that would be ridiculous). Well she's back with a newly-brunette 'hairdid' a lovely, punchy new single and video (over at Le Guardian - it's worth a click) and, we presume, a new album. The song is called "Devil's Spoke" and the new 'sound' Laura is supposedly sporting is a sort of trad-folk-medieval-country sound. It's peachy.
