Better Late Than Never

Basically... something you have to understand about Shiny & New is that we don't do this for a living and make no money off of it so if we forget to blog about something you have to bear with us... even if it's something as important as this.

Anyway (we've just realised we need to stop starting every single second paragraph with the word 'anyway') Lady GaGa has 'kicked off' her Fame Ball Tour in America and from what we've seen it is a PLEASURE FOR THE SENSES.

It involves lucite heels, a perspex piano filled with bubbles, a dress made of plastic bubbles, lots of dry ice, and of course, Ms. GaGa herself wearing asymmetric, 3D dresses and no trousers... or 'pants'.

We want it to come to England. We want to witness her again. We are sick of the naysayers. This lady has blown all other competition out of the water because she is a flawless performer, original style icon and competely ruthless go-getter and yet all her haters can concentrate on is the fact that she wears no pants and "looks like a man".

a) we don't think she looks like a man... how many men do you know with breasts and a vagine?

b) even if she did look like a man, why is this an insult? People who don't necessarily conform to traditional notions of masculinity or femininity are a delight and an extra special pleasure.

The end.
