Amazing.

We haven't mentioned Metric yet but they are rather amazing. They're the sort of alternative, indie-art-rock band that Canada seems to be full of, but they constantly subvert your expectations with a massive, epic, Beach Boys-style vocal harmony breakdown here and there or by repeating the same phrase over and over again for at least 30 seconds in the middle of an otherwise very ordinary indie, rock anthem.

Their new album, Fantasies, is out this year and we'll get back to you at some point about just how good this is when we've let it sink in a bit.
