The brand new (and literally spanking) Peaches album, I Feel Cream, is shaping up to be rather ruddy good, we'll have you know. Gone are the sparse, atonal, minimalistic beats of her previous albums, and in their place we have a sweeping, squelchy, synthy landscape.
At first glance, the whole affair is a little less naughty and tawdry than her previous albums... Lyrically there are fewer strange sex analogies or lyrics about willies, but when the result is as discotastic as this, you can't really complain.
We'll have to live with this a little longer to form a fuller opinion, but for now: v. good.
In the meanst-time, here, above, is the video for her first single from the album, "Talk To Me" which manages to be funky, blippy and cool all at the same time. A masterful feat, we think you'll agree...
