We're not to complain however, because seeing the tour the first time round was most certainly the finest live experience we've ever had the pleasure of participating in. Yes, the ticket prices are even more extortionate, but they will continue to be so as long as idiots such as this writer continue to pay them. No one can dispute the fact that Madonna, for all our (let's face it) disgustingly biased leanings toward her, is still ahead of the pack in the live extravaganzas she puts on, and has been for the past nineteen years. We hope she continues to be so. We're not going to repeat our review of the show, but we are definitely looking forward to seeing and hearing such orgasm-inducing moments as the 1990s piano riff in the "Vogue" breakdown, the spectacular backdrop screens in "She's Not Me", the opening haunting "And it feels like... home" in "Like a Prayer" and hell, even the gypsy "La Isla Bonita".
We paid £90 for our ticket and we're bloody proud!
