Actually, we were going to do a thing about how this (above) makes us feel. But we can't think of anything to say. It's another ridiculously flamboyant video, and this time it's 8 minutes long. Beyond that, elaboration seems futile. It's silly, it's fun, it's entertaining, it's gay. Blah blah blah. In fact, if you want to read something intelligent and considered about this, go here, to me-me-me.tv. Basically the gist of it is that Lady GaGa, like Madonna before her, is a master in good packaging and what is essentially rather frivolous, empty etc. is lifted by gloss, sheen, context, energy, yadda yadda.
One thing we feel we CAN comment on, though, is the single coverart:
It's alright, isn't it? But when you consider that this is the first piece of her artwork that DOESN'T feature her logo, it's sort of shit. Or maybe we just have OCD!?
