Hot Right Now - 3/05/09

The Gossip score their very first number 1 ever on the Hot Right Now chart with their 'definition-of-grower' punk stomper of a new single. Well done them. Elsewhere Basement Jaxx slip down to 2 after a week at the top spot, and it's 'non-mover' o'clock for Peaches and Booty Luv at 3 and 4. Peaches makes another entry at 10 with her album's eponymous song "I Feel Cream". Filling out the rest of the top 10 David Guetta and Kelly Rowland slip down a place to 6, Metric hop up a couple of spots to 7 and Ciara and JT drop to 9.

There are two new entries this week. VV Brown with her EPICALLY AMAZING new single, at 5 (this can only rise in the charts and we foresee a number 1 eventually) and Patrick Wolf with "Hard Times" the best new track off his new album at number 8.
