Kelis, who the ever-tactful Guardian once described as 'the thinking man's Beyoncé', is incredibly underrated as an R&B and pop innovator, and consistently makes the kind of weird and brave music that most other major label stars would never touch with a ten foot dildo. She does things like 3-minute-lyricless-trip-hop breakdowns, sampling opera and releases singles like the stupendous "Millionaire" that don't even feature her til HALF WAY THROUGH. These are things that even so-called innovator Lady GaGa would not do. But there you go.Anyway we love Kelis and we would LIKE HER NEW ALBUM PLEASE. It's not only important for gays like us. It's also important for HER financially, because apparently SHE HAS NO DOLLA. But she is not releasing her album. As you can see from her twitter she is FISHING FOR SEA BASS.
