We meant to tell you this is brill, but forgot...

1. This is "Heartbeat" by Nneka.
2. In fact it is "Heartbeat (Chase & Status We Just Bought A Guitar Remix)", but it is just as good, if not better than the original.
3. It is also charting extremely well in our merrie olde lande of Englande (it has already peaked at 23).
4. This is a feat indeed, considering that a) there is no video for it b) Nneka is not, as far as we can tell, a major-label backed, blog-hyped 'future star' with a big media profile.
5. We guess this is just one of those rare times where music speaks for itself, isn't it? It's easy to forget that occasionally a song is so good it doesn't need a 5 page spread in NME and an extensive internet campaign to get it into the public's collective consciousness.
6. 'MUSIC IS THE WINNER' etc.
