We were going to post about this last night, but thought better of it because we were confused. Whilst we've liked every song Ms. Goulding's put out, there doesn't seem to have been a line through them. Maybe there is material and/or information we're unaware of as an amateur blog, but from what we've heard/seen we're finding it hard to build up a solid picture of Ellie as an artist.
Anyway it doesn't really matter, because as we've realised today, the above song, "Under The Sheets", is both catchy and fantasmic. It's a bit startling to hear someone sing about "paper houses" and then do the chipmunk vocal effect thing. But we're all about the 'startling' here at Shiny & New.
