Shades of disappointment...

From today, you can listen to Róisín Murphy's new single, "Orally Fixated" on her myspace. We listened earlier today, and we're not very impressed. Aside from the fact that the title is immediately reminiscent of Shakira's previous two albums (Fijación Oral Vol. 1 and Oral Fixation Vol. 2) the song itself whiffs of one of the last album's b-sides... It's slightly glitchier and perhaps 'jauntier' but it doesn't a) sound like 'single material' b) tickle us anyway.

Perhaps our opinion will change, but perhaps not. We're especially miffed as the other 'leaked' live stuff we heard was much better.
