New Badu.

Three days ago (yeah as per usual we're late with this) the delectable Ms. Badu posted a new track on Twitter from her up-and-coming album, New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh), released into the world on March 30th. We've listened, we've digested and now the ruminations shall begin.

The track is called "Window Seat" and it is, if Wikipedia is to be believed (so probs not) the second track on the album. We'll post the supposed tracklisting below. It's a sultry, laidback affair that has much more in common with the material on her first three albums than the super-intense, political, dark and sumptuous stuff on New Amerykah Part One. It is, of course, completely lovely, natural, unaffected and based on a set of pretty swirling sounds BUT we hope there's some stuff on the album a bit more forward-looking.
