Something worth getting excited about...

Janelle Monáe is finally making good on that promise of a debut album. It's called The ArchAndroid and it's out on May 18th. From what we can tell there are two singles: "Tightrope" and "Cold War". They're both predictably stunning, although we're not quite as blown away as we'd hoped to be. Still... we're willing to be patient and resilient and all that and within a week we'll probably be writing you a ten page dissertation on their relative brillositiness.
