So that's what happened...

In January of '09 we wrote about Beyoncé's "Halo" video:

The other Bouncy Knowles video is for "Halo" which is a rather good song (it gets old very quickly, though). The video SHOULD have included Miss Bey dressed up as Jesus with Jay-Z playing Mary Magdalene, Kelly Rowland playing the Virgin Mary, Michelle Williams playing 12th Disciple and Solange playing a blind beggar child... THIS WAS A MISSED OPPORTUNITY.

The ACTUAL video is one of the most boring things we have ever ever seen, except for the bit where BeyBey drowns. And even that's lacklustre. Anyway here it is.

We stand by that judgement - the vid's still boring, but here's a different version featuring a rabid dog subplot that Ms. Knowles probably deemed too 'dark' or 'controversial' to be officially released. So here it is, years later, 'leaked' probably. It's still not the most interesting video of all time and doesn't seem to have anything to do with halos (or is it 'haloes'? Halitosis?) but it's still better and less beige than the original.
