As enormous Missy fans, newborn Lil' Kim fans, Nicki Minaj stans, Peaches lovers, Speech Debelle enthusiasts (etc. etc.) we're partial to a female rapper, but for whatever reasons we've sort of given Kid Sister a miss, unintentionally, which is silly really, because people were banging on about her being the saviour of female hip hop a while back and she really is rather talented if all sources are to be believed.
Her campaign/onslaught has been a bit of a mess. We can't really gain an overview or 'sense' that ties it all together: for instance this is quite different to this. Anyway her new video, above, for single "Big N Bad" is perhaps a bit more like it. We're not sure where this is going or what's going to happen but we did press play on the rectangle up there and we enjoyed what we heard and saw.
