More Like It.

The next Minaj single. It is, as many have already pointed out, in a similar vein to "Your Love", in that it's an emotional mid-tempo. But we think it's on another level. There's much less autotune (always a blessing) and there is a WHOPPER of a pop hook in the chorus (we she sings herself, very well, no less).

This is what Nicki has needed. A big pop song where she can belt the hummable, radio-friendly chorus, but rap her way through the verses. We have to say, we're not overly enamoured with her rapping in this (not many memorable or wacky rhymes as far as we can tell...) but if this acts as the enormous launching pad for her career that she's both needed and wanted, we won't complain too much. Expect to hear this EVERYWHERE before long.
