S&N

4.5.11

Hideously late. Gerroverit.

When we started this blog, a couple of years ago, we didn't really have lives. Well, of course we did. But we'd only just started being students and we couldn't get a job cuz the recession had just kicked in and who really works that hard in their first year of university, except losers, amiright? (I'm not right).

Anyway, we always used to baulk (love a good baulk) at peoples who would say "I'm sorry, I'm going to have to close/stop writing/enforce a hiatus upon my blog because I'm just too busy to write it at the moment." WELL, we would think. WELL. Just FIND the time, you lazy sod. It's easy. Just find the time.

But as our lives have become increasingly more complicated (we have jobs now) and our student workload has increased, we've started to find it ever more difficult to find the time to update this blog. What we didn't take into account, previously, when we were railing against busy bloggers, is that you can't just sit down and write the first thing that comes into your head (doesn't seem to stop us) when you're updating a topical music blog. You have to do your research first. Find out what's new. Look at other forums and blogs. And THAT's the part that we don't have time for.

So we've severely neglected S&N recently, terribly sorry about that, again. This isn't a long-winded way of saying we're going to close the blog (we are absolutely NOT, god, we're not that lazy), it's just a roundabout way of saying we didn't find time to write about GODDESS KATE BUSH's new video when it came out, so we're doing it now.

Basically, opinion is split here at S&N. Some of us think it is a hilariously literal, embarrassing, cringe-ridden, dated, poorly-acted eyesore with a slightly confused message (computers make you kill...? Um... what?), whereas others think it's an unusual, fascinating, Kate Bushy bonanza of oddness.

Either way, it's a new Kate Bush video, so we should be grateful.
