Rihanna seems to be intent on revisiting or making vague references to that incident, which, depending on how you look at it, is either brave/gutsy or worryingly masochistic. Possibly the former considering RiRi doesn't strike us as the sort to develop a victim complex: she seems to be far too self-assured.

Any woman in the limelight who insists on bringing attention to violence against women without making apology is fiery indeed, in our books. Perhaps we're reading too much into this, or perhaps we're not reading enough. Either way, there's one thing we can be absolutely sure of: the cinematography is stunning, and RiRi looks, as always, like a living Goddess.
