We're still not entirely sure what a 'Jessie Ware' is - the blogosphere is proving to be surprisingly tight on details - but she's a female, born and raised in the southern hemisphere of London and has been blessed with several exciting portents of success in today's music industry: an excellent singing voice which excites yet refrains from irritating, an 'up and coming' producer behind her with the right contacts and a knack of topical, of-the-moment without being 'generic' production... and a dedicated fan base lead by Annie Mac. We happened to hear "110%" coincidentally on it's first ever play on air on Friday and were instantly enraptured by it's lilting, summery hazy/dazey ways. It's the sort of thing we could just as easily have a 'moment' (Ed: wanna chill out on the quotation marks pal?) to on a dancefloor, as we could sitting next to a resevoir on a beautiful summer's dusk with a bottle of strawberry & lime flavoured alcohol and a packet of seafood extender. We'll be seeing her at Parklife in June.
