The xx, the bookies/critics/our favourite to win the Mercury Prize, actually won. When does that happen, like, ever? We were so proud to see our favourite Rubenesque Tracey Thorn-impersonator and her two ambidextrous analogous androgynous male band mates get up on stage in front of 'innovators' like Paul Weller and Corinne Bailey Rae.Believe the hype, their album is absolutely phenom. They were also the best thing we saw at Latitude 2010. Duh.
