Stuck In Our Head: "How Do You Do" - Shakira

It's Shakira's birthday and this was stuck in our head the other day so it seemed like the perfect track. It wasn't a single so you're going to have to deal with a rather funny live performance in which she wears floaty white culottes and looks constipated a lot.

This is a rather amazing song but we'll leave it to Alexis Petridis from the Guardian to describe why, as he does it best:
""How Do You Do" features mock-Gregorian chanting by a group called Seraphic Fire, a staccato wah-wah guitar solo that bears a debt to Queen's Killer Queen and a winning chorus that you would call stadium rock were it not embellished with backing vocals sung in an inexplicable baby voice. The lyrics seem to feature Shakira confronting God with his failings - she is angry about famine, she is angry about the Middle East and she is also angry about cats being chased by dogs. For the most part, they are so opaque that they might as well be in Latin, which indeed some of them are."
