Stuck In Our Head, A Special Edition: Now, Always & Forever "The Spell" - Alphabeat

If you're the kind of person who walks around all day with 'a song stuck in their head' then DO NOT CLICK PLAY ABOVE. If you're the kind of person who thought Alphabeat's first single, "Fascination", was a work of pop genius the first 34 times you heard it, but began to resent it so deeply you got an eye twitch everytime you heard it after that THEN DO NOT CLICK PLAY ABOVE. Because we guarantee that by the time October cames swirling around, you will be so sick to death of not only hearing this on the radio, but also hearing every single person you know, who does not live under a rock, humming this, singing this, bopping to this, blasting this out of car and bedroom windows and requesting it in clubs, that you will not only get an eye twitch, but the whole left side of your face will collapse and you will be rendered unable to smile EVER AGAIN.

Of course, if you're the kind of upstart hipster who insists on hearing everything first, and who loves pop, but only before everyone else does, then by ALL MEANS click above. You can get a good month or so of solid playraping out of this on your iTunes before anyone else even knows it exists. Yeah, we know it was premiered on Scott Mills' show, but even when that happens, you often find yourself being the only person in a group of friends to have heard it. If you want to obsess over this song before your friends then listen to it NOW, because it means that later you'll be able to do the whinging you are SO good at. You know, the whinging where you carp on about how you LOVED it at first but you just got so SICK of it, but you still think it's good, even though you can't BARE to hear it, and did you hear the rare b-side, it was JUST as good if not BETTER and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Anyway, all terrible journalism aside, this song, "The Spell" by Alpheabeat, is not only one of the catchiest songs ever to be written (we might be exaggerating, we might not be) it's also a huge great spurt of hot pop goodness, so feel-good, so euphoric and so danceable, that if you don't love it, there's something wrong with you. Enjoy!
