What's going on with Amerie?

SO. Amerie has (or had) a rather fab comeback single called "Heard 'Em All" which has been floating around for ages (Embedding disabled by request blah blah blah). It has a spooky and brilliant video that starts of sounding like Radiohead's "Fitter Happier" ('no joke') before launching into a song both current and true to Amerie's own unique style. It's a borderline corker.

Whilst this seems to have failed to catch on anywhere in America, Amerie is ploughing on with this (up there) which would seem to be her NEXT single from her forthcoming fourth album, In Love & War. We like Amerie (the coveart for this particular 'era' has been especially fantastic 'btw') and we want her to do well, so we're hoping (praying) that "Pretty Brown" is a surefire hit. Obviously we haven't heard it yet, BUT GIVE US TIME.

So in short: what is going on with Amerie?
