Yes, we are well aware that Lady GaGa doesn't do what she's told OR what's expected of her, but our general musical OCD is flaring up all over the place. And 'why?' we hear you ask. Well, because the whole FEEL of this new campaign (the new font, the new logo, the new ideas, the new concept, the new names, the new look, the abundance of new songs...) smacks of a NEW ALBUM.
Why can't it just be a new album? She could call it Monster, and it could be her sophomore effort. Yes, yes we are aware that her FIRST album campaign is barely over, but that didn't stop the Saturdays (that's a terrible example - Ed) and it shouldn't stop Ms. GaGa. Maybe the whole music industry is moving towards a model where we don't wait 3 years between album efforts and we just get a continual stream of new singles and endless re-releases. Basically what could happen is that the first re-release could contain several new tracks and all the old ones. The second one could contain several new tracks, all the new ones from the 1st re-release and some of the ones from the original release. And so on... until you've built up your own cumulative Greatest Hits as you've gone along.
Maybe not, though
