Budget. Snore. Sigh.

There is a lighthouse in this, which is always a plus, but other than that the video, above, is almost entirely devoid of merit. Shame, really, because "The Writer", despite being apparently hated by most fans, is one of the best songs on Ellie's debut - soaring, lilting, waltzing ballad which, with some more, ahem, inventive production, could have been truly spectacular, as opposed to pleasant and soft.
