As pretty as Janelle is, and as admirable as it is to lipsync your whole song in one take with some pretty believable cry-cries to top it all off at the end (she'll make a good actress when she inevitably makes that move), we can't help but wonder, has her budget run out? It wouldn't surprise us. Her album did pretty well in America, but the production on it sounds, as fellow blogger xolondon put it, like it cost "a cool million", and previous video "Many Moons" for an EP-residing buzz single also looks incredible expensive. Is this cost-effective video making!?

Of course, it doesn't matter, and we're sure someone will chide us saying "IT'S CLEARLY A REFERENCE TO THE PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC YOU PHILISTINES" which is all well and good. But we still would've preferred a sweeping big budget epic. Never mind.
