Twenty years ago, the Blond Ambition Tour concluded in Nice, France. A relatively short world tour by today's standards, it is by no means Madonna's crowning glory, her finest live performance or peak by any means. It is however possibly the most iconic entity she has ever created, with good reason. Its influence can be seen with little stretching today, two decades later, and will continue to show itself in the work of female and male artists alike for decades to come. It has its peaks and troughs but Madonna will never achieve anything like the Blond Ambition Tour again.
