Stunnering

This was released earlier in the year but we only just became aware of it cuz it was iTunes free single of the week. We saw Lauren at Latitude, and are slightly aware that there's kind of a feeling of snobbery and/or ennui towards her from music bloggers, who may feel her soul blue-eyed soul schtick is a bit 2007, but whatever! Her range and skill(s) are undeniable and her music is heartfelt and expansive. This song is particularly great, showcasing a real knack for lyrics. Unfortunately it's not iTunes free single of the week any more, but, y'know, you can always shell out a measly 99 pence for it, or get her album which is only £5.99 on the aforementioned iTunes (this is not product placement, btw, WE PROMZ).

Anyway, yeah.
