Do you remember that David Byrne and Fatboy Slim-crafted Imelda Marcus concept album we mentioned a while back? We know, it sounds like an April Fools, but it's all true!

Well if you go to David Byrne's official website you can download the Santigold track free! It's called "Please Don't". When we started listening to it we drifted off a bit, which is usually not a good thing, although not necessarily a deal-breaker but it was really strange because by the end we were not only sort of enjoying it but we could also remember the tune.

We realise this is one of the worst pieces of music journalism on the internet, but never fear, because it's about to get worse:

You can also listen to clips of all the other songs (featuring the magical array of wonderful female stars) here. Well, it says you can, but there are no 'speaker icons' to click on so in actuality, you can't. It's all a bit like this 'article': a mess.

We'll bring you more news when it comes out in late February. Let us hope (for everyone's sake) that we can bring ourselves to write something more coherent, lucid, well-researched and full of artistic flair because if not, we're fucked.
