Hurray for Hollywood!

A smorgasbord of lurid, fluorescent wunderbar joy? Why, it's the new Nicki Minaj video for one of the best tacked-on-toward-the-end-of-the-album-so-not-many-people-bother-listening-but-actually-very-very-good songs ever produced. Featuring a line up of six Bajan babes in multi coloured dyke-choice-of-footwear Doc Martens (we think we've overdone the hyphens already and we're not far in) before catching a glimpse of Nicki channelling Ariel the Little Mermaid, it's everything the song is - bright, loud and too much but not enough.

At first the pretty heavy male worship was the only thing we found affronted us, however actually we see it more as male objectifying - Nicki sings about how beautiful her man is as she feels his tits and spills Pepto Bismol all over him in the pool, which is one mark under "Woman Objectifying Man" versus a million billion under "Man Objectifying Woman". So actually, it's a bit feminist. Well, maybe. If Nicki wants to sing about how beautiful her man is, she bloody can. Just keep wearing those Docs.
